The EU-funded AI4Debunk project is hosting a series of webinars – Disinfo Talks – to raise awareness about the dangers of disinformation, fake news, and propaganda, while highlighting the important role AI can play in fighting them. Through engaging discussions and insightful presentations, this webinar series will also showcase the AI-driven solutions being developed by the project and foster collaboration among academics, media professionals, and policymakers to address this global challenge.
The second AI4Debunk webinar will explore the critical intersection of technology and truth. The first session will examine real-world case studies involving disinformation networks in the Ukraine conflict and the manipulation of climate change narratives, illustrating how AI can effectively map and expose these falsehoods. The second part of the webinar will conclude with a hands-on demo showcase of innovative tools and a discussion on the future of human-AI collaboration in safeguarding digital integrity.
